Great work has to do both: turn heads and move numbers. A major obstacle can be getting everyone to buy into your ideas without watering them down while making sure the output actually works, not just looks good in a deck.
Where creative work really starts for us though, is not the drawing board, but insight into markets and target audiences. For the creative to have any impact, we need to truly understand the product and know who we are talking to.
